Bombshell....370bhp IHI setup feeler?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of selling my entire turbo hardware setup!

If you've seen my car you'll know its mint and if you know me you'll know I WILL NOT sell anything that is not 100% spot on!

Included would be:-

IHI VF22 Hybrid with TD05 wheel (so I'm told?) ceramic coated hot side! With oil and coolant pipes!

Jabbasport exhaust manifold also ceramic coated with new gasket!

Custom J-Tech automotive downpipe (which mates to a 3in milltek system, may incl exhaust also!)

Front subframe powdercoated, with custom support bracket (welded) for the downpipe!

Custom Badger5 TIP 80mm

Badger5 induction kit incl KN filter and heat shield and maf housing!

Custom top boost pipe with silicone DV link pipe (elbow) and turbo outlet hose!

Forge 007p DV

ECU with R-Tech live emulated map to 371bhp and 333lb/ft! Can easily be tweaked by R-Tech for the new owner/engine hardware!

550cc injectors!

This is without a doubt, the best tuned, best built, best running IHI setup ANYWHERE!

It's done 7000 faultless miles, been a joy to drive with it!

I'm only selling due to another new turbo option that's just become available!

For all of the above.....including the 3in milltek exhaust and brand new backbox £2700 or serious offers!

If it doesn't go I'll be stunned!

Before you quibble the price look at how comprehensive the kit is,it's everything you need to bolt on 370bhp except internals!

Thanks for reading this far ;-)

Mark

Great setup dude but wow on the ££££ seems very very high bud ?

Hmm,ok mate!

Well firstly I'd like to apologise if I've priced it to high!

I know what it owes me,but dont get me wrong i know I'm not gonna get even half of it back,if that's to much to ask for it then fair enough!

I certainly don't want to swizz anyone on the price ;-)

There aren't many setups that go with modified subframe, full exhaust and mapped ecu?

I'm open to offers for it then.....that way I'll get a real bead on what people would part with for it.....

Cheers Clive ;-)

Mmmmmmm this went like actual **** !!!!!

have you got a build thread on your car mate, interested to see what your beast is like. Good luck with the sale but if it were mine I'd keep it as is.

I started one but I'm not that Good with computers tbh,so it wasn't updated.....

I'll get some pictures put up shortly so people can see what's what.

I'm selling because I've got the track day bug like you wouldn't believe so I'm after a 2.0L TFSI KO4-064 hybrid from beach buggy turbos, which will be more suited to track driving.

I really don't want to sell this setup, but then I don't want to kill it on track either!

The car will do 0-60 in 5 secs and 0-100 in 10 secs....

Same turbo I will have on the Octy demo ;-)

You will have to remove ac pipes I recon

And there was me reading the tread..thinking GT35 was going to be mentioned....

LoL

No gt35+ 1.8 engine = pointless lol ;-)

Price has been changed following a chat with a fellow brisky member today!

Now for sale at £2700.....

No gt35+ 1.8 engine = pointless lol ;-)

Good job mines a 1.9 then

:-)

Cool makes all the difference that instead of spooling at 7k it will spool at 6.8 k lol

Good on the dyno though must sound like it wants to suck kids in lol

You got it running big numbers yet ?

Nah...ain't that bad...starts spooling at 4k.

No still work in progress..

Got a SEM intake and RS4 TB to fit the weekend..

Then it's remap time..over 400 ATM,not going to chase big numbers..450-500 will be enough.

:-)

(Sorry mark for spamming your thread...we must meet before you start stripping it....)

No worries....saves me bumping it every day lol!

Sem yum yum easy 450+

Would it not make sense to down size run same power but spool loads earlier ?

Epic Octavia coming out now soon to be the car to have

No,not going to change the tubby now..

Makes perfect sence when someone try's it on..

Imagine..

I pull out to over take..hit the loud pedal.

Bloke behind does the same..

Bit of ..sorry quite a bit of lag..

They keep up,as I'm not on boost..

Then bang,5ks here and it just shoots off..

No chance.

Leads them into a false sence if security..

Simples..

:-)

I dont think I would change it now.

Long story, but went out in my old LCR Saturday (mates just bought it)

Running revo stage 2,usual stuff,FMIC,3" pipe,B5 tip,aquamist,K+N,

Just shy of 300ftlb,and 278bhp...

I loved it,no lag etc..

But after driving it,it just felt so slow, unexciting, revving it done nothing..

Just felt soooo flat.

I used to think it was rapid for a 1.8t,not anymore.

Nope I'm in love with it,and will continue to make it better.

Haven't even tried the nos yet..lol

Maybe then,I might go 2008cc..after its spreaded the block...again!

Ha ha that's the key aslong as you enjoy

Your making it 1000% better than it was wich is awesome dude

Seem and decent fmic should make huge difference and nos ha ha awesome
