Donk/creak

I've got a donk, but I can't find it.

I've had a look around myself when changing the undertray but couldn't see anything. VAG indy says n'owt wrong with the suspension.

I've got the beginnings of clicky CV's but it's not them and it's not rotational.

It's front end and can sound left, right or central (have checked the plenum for a marble!!).

Most noticeable under load and is exacerbated by an uneven surface.  Sometimes it's one donk sometimes it's several.

It's too heavy to be a heat shield.

If I pull away gently it doesn't happen.

I'm wondering engine mount or zorst knocking because of an engine mount.

Does this sound familiar to anyone, or do you think I'm on the right lines?

Any thoughts gratefully appreciated.
