vRS estate, Tdi, Race Blue, black pack, winter pack (just in time?), Admundsen, colour maxi dot, sunset glass and KESSY. photos will follow when dry and light enough! First drive was 85 miles of dual carriageway in heavy, some crawling speed and then country A road across the moors. Showed 53mpg, which I'm more than happy with, especially as a few good overtakes and quite a few hills were included. My last MkII vRS would have been high 40s.

Not surprised TBH. Slightly more power and less weight = more mpg. Best colour too and best engine. Get those photos uploaded soon! Enjoy your new car.

2nd'ing the get some pics up, same spec as mine will be! Instead of Admundsen I've got Canton, otherwise the same. Once you've had it a bit would be good to see what sort of figures are you getting when you a) have your foot in the carpet for extended periords B). drive it like a saint on a long run!
