due to moving home location been looking for a 4x4, and as we love our Octavia VRS mk2, been looking at 4x4 estates mk1, is there anything to look out for, we not moving to the middle of timbuck to but up a bit of a dirt/muddy track that could be fun in the winter ...

Make sure its had its Haldex coupling serviced regularly! 

New oil every 20K and new filter every 40K.

The Haldex Earthing strap are prone to rusting and will come off causing issues with the coupling.

Rotten vacuum hoses, due to age and oil degradation.
