So my vrs has a slight whin in 5th gear, it only happens in 5th as soon as it's selected and if you let off it still whines but when you accelerate it stops, all gears select really easy and are smooth it's just annoying anyone know what it could be?

When in fifth with the noise on, lightly push and pull the gear leaver to see if it changes and feel for the gear leaver moving around when you bring the clutch up.

Chances are the bearing for fifth has failed.
