Quick question -  are the sump plugs on the MK2 1.4 TDi still M14 1.5 pitch (same as the MK1 TDi's)?

I'm looking at one. It cost 98p from my Skoda dealer complete with washer. It takes a 19mm socket, don't know what pitch the thread is without my gauges. 

I think my local dealer charged me about £3. Its not as good as the original ones where could could just change the copper washer.

Changing the copper washer doesn't replace the threads though. How many posts are there about knackered sump threads. That's due to not replacing the plug (and over tightening).
