As some of you have found when ordering there new Yeti, your dealer has price protected this against 'old' Yeti prices.

 

As of this morning, we have received confirmation that the price protection will end at close of play Monday (21st).

 

 

 

....Yet weren't there one or two (or three...) dealers reported here who wouldn't / couldn't accept orders for the FL?

Strange this total inconsistency with Skoda UK and the dealer network.

I have to say I am extremely disappointed with SUK and what would appear to be the ethics of some corners of the Skoda UK dealer network over the launch of the FL Yeti.

 

Eventually the configurator appears but with so many blatant errors, someone ought to be fired for letting it go live in such a condition.

 

As of yesterday, the configurator option doesn't appear under the 'Yeti' tab but the Yeti does if you go to another model's config tab. Not that there is an L&K trim level option there and then it goes downhill....

 

Then at dealer level, customers are being told price freeze until 31 Oct, others told none, now SUK say 21 Oct. I was informed today that the FL isn't live on the finance system so a firm costings can't be provided.

 

Ridiculous.

There was initial confusion with regards to the price protection, initially it was for customers orders that were taken on pre FL but would possibly be built as FL, then it did change to orders up until COB on the 31st but as of yesterday, due to the residuals going live on the finance system it WILL be COB Monday.
