H&R Springs - feedback ?

Featured Replies

I have noticed that since changing the front springs (not the rear) the ride has degraded somewhat, possible due to reduced travel

Anyone noticed this on lowered sportier springs, more of a crashier feeling on potholes etc? Is this normal ?

Its very clunky.

Its almost like because of the reduced suspension travel this is to be expected because the wheel has to "drop" into more significant road variations.

Whilst before the longer suspension travel would permit much greater oscillation.

But its not just potholes, I think the travel is significantly reduced to actually make driving on uneven (country) roads quite a burden and wouldn't rush to lower suspension again in future (although it was useful to refresh the shocks).

Motorway roads are fine though

Its possible I might also have some other components worn that may contribute to this crashing feeling - any suggestions gratefully received but I doubt there is much can be done about this.
