How much should it cost to install a new HU?

Go easy here as I have a feeling many might be appalled by this idea, but I want to pay to have someone install a new Head Unit in my new old Octavia. I bought a cheapist mp3 player from Maplin (a 'Shark') for my Golf and had a terrible time installing it. Partly because I didn't know (don't laugh) 1. there are special tools available for removing head units (I used coat hanger wire which um, didn't work all that well) and 2. the battery/ignition wire issue with VW-based cars.

Anyway, I want someone 'qualified' to do it this time as I stupidly wasted hours last time on it. I want to get a

about 50 nicker is normal, where are you as i'm sure one of us would help. i know i will if close enough

Yes, I work in Swindon and live about 20 miles west of it.

most independant shops will but won't offer a warrenty on it

Annoyingly, the one in Argos that I wanted it out of stock just about everywhere except Stroud, which is too far for a single trip really.
