Does anyone know how long it takes from "released from port" (uk) to delivery to dealer?

Mines been released for sometime now and still not been told its arrived. I thought released would mean it was ready for transporting.

How long have you guys waited?

Think it varies a lot. Mine went from exit port to dealer in 7 days. I dont know the timescale between uk port and dealer im afraid.

mine arrived on last friday at port (uk) and hopefully picking up Friday at dealers

Mine arrived at Sheerness port last Saturday and was delivered to dealer early this morning so about 4 days. Took a sneaky photo of it with all the wrapping still on......at least I hope it's mine!!

Well here's hoping for tomorrow than...that'll be 4 clear days not including the weekend...generally transporters don't run over the weekend.

I'm not very impressed today!

My car arrived and cleared the UK docks last Thursday.

Phoned my dealer but they didn't have any news on when the car was arriving...phoned SUK they confirmed it had arrived and was still sitting at Grimsby!

What on earth? A week in the uk with no progress?!

My Golf went from at the docks to delivered in 0 days, dealer rang to say its being driven of the delivery truck while the status still said 'at the docks'.Don't know if the Skoda site is any better or worse than the VW one but they probably use the same tracking S/W.

I hope so mate, my dealer says he hasn't got a date when it's arriving with them?

Skoda say it's still at Grimsby. Just don't get what's going on.

Surely the dealer sorts out the haulier/transporter? They must know something or someone's forgot to raise paperwork?

Mine took 9 days from exit port to dealers.

One thing I do remember is the dealer calling to say its at exit port and that THEY would now arrange for the delivery to them, I assumed he was referring to the delivery from Grimsby to dealership. If that was correct then it might be at the dealers end or with their transporter but as I say I'm reading into what my dealer said on the phone, I never asked outright.

I think your right. It's gotta be down to the dealer to arrange the transporter. It's just weird that the guy who's dealing has said he doesn't know when it's coming etc. If he doesn't know or hasn't got a date?.......

Anyway fingers crossed it comes soon. Maybe I'll pick it up from dock myself...:-)
