2500 & 3500 wet&dry paper - where from?

Featured Replies

Looking for some of the above to wet sand swmbo's headlights before machine polishing them back to perfection (the car s low mileage but uv rays have affected the plastic)

I've tried B&Q, and screw fix direct with no luck, the local hardware store weren't able to help, and eBay only sold packs with loads of sheets when I looked.

Does anyone have any idea of where I can obtain one sheet of each?

EBay - my last small amount came from there

I bought from Halfords ....a couple of years ago...

Don't know if its still available.

It should be

Cheers guys, will try both.

Most of the automotive bodyshop suppliers will keep it. My local supplier is express paints in Portsmouth and you can buy it by the sheet.

Rollupandshine sell it 90p a sheet if I remember correctly.

I've been told halfords do it and I found and abrasives website that do it pretty cheap but haven't the link n my phone. I just used google to find em.

You don't really need lighter paper than 2500 anyway,

I start headlights using 600 grit, then 800, then 1200, then 1500, and finally 2500, then machine polish.  3500 seems a bit of overkill when I can barely feel any kind of "roughness" on 2500 paper anyway.

I'm sure I got mine from machine mart

Ordered mine singly from eBay :)

Also Halfords do sell them too.
