Audi s3 intake manifold

Hi I'm thinking of getting a s3 manifold for my mk1 vrs mainly cause I prefer the the lay wen fitting a fmic is the manifold and throttle body ok for the auq engine even though the s3 is 225 bhp and what's the difference in throttle body size? Thanks in advance for advice

Also I just fitted a 225 fuel pump what would be the best upgrade for injectors (what size) etc cheers

Bam manifold that i have uses same sized throttle body just on other side,

 

You will need

 

225 brake vac line from manifold to servo,

injector rail, yours won't fit,

manifold support mounting bracket and bolts,

shorter bolt for mounting behind alternator,

8mm hose to extend coolent hose over manifold and joiners,

length of 3mm hose for dv and fuel pressure regulator,

forge map sensor pipe,

patience to open wiring loom up and open move throttle body wiring and map senor wiring to other side, (no cutting required)

 

I took car off road for 3 months over winter when i did mine but if you have all bits can be done over a weekend

Why doesn't the fuel rail fit?

(Was going to fit my sem at the weekend )

Fuel rail mountings are in way from memory, but i got abit of a shock when i tried to fit my fuel rail and it wouldn't fit

I'll probly swerve this then I just preferred the way a fmic set up don't really like the pipes goin over the top of the engine I'm gonna order the toyo sport intercooler kit off the bay the 2.5 inch one then put the big welly cooler on instead of the little one that comes with the kit but just noticed the 600x300x76 welly cooler has 3" outlets can u get reducers 3-2.5" so the pipe work fits

Volvomeg which intercooler have u got I see u still have standard intercooler pipe work at the bk of your bay ?

It also has 3in inlet and outlets just used silicone reducers, it was a ebay special, the biggest cooler i could get into the gap,

 

I did intend to change pipework so it runs like the ko4 turbos but never got round to it

Nice fmic is one job I'm not lookin forward to a lot of ic pipe work is ill fitting and sometimes a nightmare lol where u get your reducers ?

My Dahlback manifold for S3 worked fine with my AUM fuel rail.You can see pics in my built thread.;)

U Rubin stage 2 then

I have everything done to run stage 2 but never had it mapped to stage 2,

Am quiet happy with the 220bhp its running as it is

i used the instructions from volvomeg its a easy job and well worth the patients for the end result :)
