What's the recommended idle speed when warm for my 1.6 mpi Skoda fun,

Performed a throttle body clean and it seems to rev a lot higher now, around 1200 just wondered if this was right

For a warm engine thats too much id say its around 800rpm.

If you have cleaned the tb you may need to reset it and it should alter itself

Have had that done,

Are you sure the o ring under the throttle body is correctly seated

No, suspect you may be right will dive in and check in the day light, will I need to get it reset again after I take it off or should it be ok

So long as you don't unplug the wiring harness connector it will be. ok

It's also worth checking the ignition timing too, quite often I've seen it where somebody has adjusted the dizzy to compensate for a low idle speed not realising it was the throttle body being filthy that caused it in he first place.
