I finally got to collect my VRS DSG diesel estate today and I over the moon with it. I've only driven it a short distance so far but I'm really impressed with the refinement and perceived build quality. I added quite a few options, Black Pack, Columbus Sat Nav, Kessy, Intelligent Park Assist, Winter Pack (heated windscreen, heated seats, heated washer jets), Cruise Control, Variable boot floor, Canton and Sunset glass.

I really must thank my dealer Colbornes at Guildford they have been excellent throughout and today when I arrived to collect it it was in pride of place in the middle of the showroom under a cover waiting for the big unveiling.

I can't wait to take it out for a proper drive!

Ordered mine from the same place. When I ordered middle of August, Mike in sales said that he had already taken orders for 3 others. Possibly yours was one of those. Mine is due to be built at the end of November - probably held up by the Pano sunroof! Enjoy.

Mine will look exactly the same from the outside, and I must say, your pics have just made my wait for my new car feel like an eternity!  I want it now!!!!

 

But, overall, I think your car looks fantastic! I hope you enjoy it, will be interested to hear about MPG with the DSG gearbox as mine is a DSG as well.

I too have the same in DSG (without some of the toys you've got :-( ) love it btw!!

I was hitting 54mpg on the motorway sitting at 70 with cruise on. It seems pretty good on fuel so far, especially for an auto. We have a Freelander 2 TD4 auto and that is horrendous on fuel (low 20's around town)!

Columbus looks awesome, even when switched off!!
