Hi all

just got my first Skoda - a 2002 Octavia RS. Am delighted with it and also delighted to know there is a forum like this. I am not sure if my first post should be a question but here is a small one anyway:

'What tyre pressure would you recommend for the 17inch rims on an Octavia rs for long haul driving?'

Hope to connect wiht many of you ove the next few years!

The guy who fitted the wheels for me told me to keep them at 32psi all round, some guys like to put in and extra 1 or 2 psi if used mainly for distance driving, but l always stayed with the 32

Welcome to Briskoda. Details of the tyre pressures you should use are on a sticker inside the fuel filler flap.

Dont forget that if you top up your tyres on a hot day or after a fast run, they will contract on cooling, then you will have less pressuer.

BTW Welcome :orb_wave:
