Alternator pulley 2.5 tdi

Featured Replies

A question: I will be changing the thermostat so I thought while I'm there to change the freewheeling alternator pulley. Rang two well-known motorfactors and neither list them as freewheeling. They reckon on the 2.5 they are solid. Is this true? If not true, where can I get the pulley from, apart from main dealer?

ECP or GSF should sell them. If it is like the 1.9 TDI engines I will have a non vag part number on the pulley (may be an IHI brand pulley)

GSF told me mine is fixed pulley.

Try TPS, they're normally pretty helpful.
