Hi Skoda fans

I'm nervously thinking about buying a new Yeti L&K - never bought a new car before. My current car is an old Seat Leon Cupra and it's been a great car for the last 10 years, so I thought another VW based brand is a good bet.

I've seen some posts on here discussing ride quality; my wife has neck problems and finds the ride in many cars too harsh, including the Elegance that we took for a test drive. We then drove a 1.2 model with 16" wheels which seemed ok, so my plan is to get some of those. It seems that Skoda won't supply the L&K with 16" alloys so when/if I order the car I will try to get some 16" alloys as well...seems a bit crazy but I'm thinking it might be easier to sell in the future with the original 17" alloys.

I might post something in the Yeti forum to see what they think. The Yeti seems like a great car and worth spending my daughter's inheritance on:-)
