Undertray experiences

Featured Replies

Just fitted an engine undertray back onto my PD100 as it didn't have one when I bought the car. Also required a new OSF wheel arch as the bit that would have attached to the previous undertray was smashed-up. Gave me a chance to have a second go at the TT-vent pikey mod - it's much easier the second time around!

The car is a hell of a load quieter. Less chug-a chug-a chug-a at idle, and makes a nicer noise when revved - less like a tractor now.

Just went for a nice drive but even with the TT vent, the intercooler is getting der kronicker heat soak :thumbdwn:

Is pikey mod three going to be removal and ducting of a section of the driver-side of the engine undertray to improve airflow?

Yikes.

Just went for another drive and someone came through one of those one-way traffic-calming things on my priority and drove into the side of me. I was pretty ****ed off. Got his plate and face on the cameraphone, but I don't think I'll go anywhere with it - got away with just a small scuff mark which I reckon will polish out.

****ing East London!
