I'm a newbie here, so please be gentle. As per title, I am considering to buy the VRS tdi I've owned VAG tdi before, so I know the in's and out's of these cars. 

 

Any of you members modified your Octy? My plans are, APR remap BHP 200 bhp, 410 NM of torque, dpf removed, eibach pro sport 35mm springs, tints, respray wheels in Gloss black, HID 6000K Kit, retrofit satnav, possibly BBS CH 18' wheels.

 

I've been searching around, but nothing has come up yet. My budget is £5000max , 90K - 130K miles, has to be in Black.

I own a Skoda Octavia combi VRS 2.0TDI, black, eibach pro-street lower spring, bilstein shocks, tinted windows, black wheels 18", OEM Xenon, pioneer touchscreen radio (will upgrad to nav later), remaped befor with 207bhp and 440nm. Now is removing DPF and EGR disable, and a full exhaust 63mm line with only final mufler. will tune the remap after this mod. Mirros painted in red to match the caliper

Future mods:

-tune the remap after DPF and EGR delete and with full costum 63mm inox exhaust line

-Air induction

-front calipers upgrade to audi TT-RS Brembo Big calipers with 370mm drilled OEM disc (alredy bought but it won't fit my OEM 18" wheels...bahhhhhhhhhhhh)

-rear calipers to 310mm

-19" wheels to fit the big brakes

-coils to lower it (don't know what coils to use...)

-rear wing, rear difussor

-front milotec lower grill

-front black rubber lip

:love:   :love:  :love: Oh My Gosh! This is what exactly I want to do   my heartbeats like a thumping drum. Please upload pics when your car is back out from the workshop, can't wait to see it.  The Octy is my next project car, as done previous mods to my previous car.

My problem now it's to find 19" wheels...here in portugal they are very expensive and international seller from ebay htat has cheaper wheels wont send to portugal LOL...and i'm very exquisite on wheels taste LOL Can't find any that i like...

Like i said before...i don't have any idea! LOL I like very much 5 spoke wheels...

I was looking to these ABT, but need painted in some colour...maybe black or white...or red!!!

These wheels look a little bit rude, but...i guess they have some potencial if painted! Also there come with new Continental tyres, so the set of 4 wheels + new tyres only 600Euros (£511)

 

Buying from USA it's a pain in the ass...because of costums!!! Need to pay 23% taxes + 70Euros + another tax...bahhh God Damn Costum Thiefs!!!! LOL

 

Also, i saw this set... 750euros (£640) but the tyres are Yokohama and are at their end

These also needed to be painted in black...perhaps...LOL

Seriously though the Octavia Projects section is full of modified mark 2s, some more than others.

You might also find a mk2 estate with a set of those ABT 5 spokes, isn't that right Rob W8?

If you couls help with that estate with the ABT wheel, would be great, because I can't find it

I've seen a few modified ones on this forum. The one I really liked was the blue skoda with BBS 18' CH wheels, those are the wheel's I want on my Skoda. 

As yet, still haven't found the right one. The ones are on sale are way too pricey even with high miles, I personally won't pay than £5K for a Skoda IMO. 

 

Them wheel look's ok, a set of BBS rims will certainly stand out

There a few member with bbs wheels. I like the wheels and i can buy a set with tyres for 1000Euros, but personaly on the skoda i don't like to see...I like the wheels but not on the Skoda! LOL

 

Waiting to see those ABT on a skoda...

Lol....I am a big fan of BBS, so that's why I am going to buy a set. Very tempting to do this  :yes:

I will only upgrade my turbo to a gtb2260vk, only after my oem turbo dies!

Went to look at this Black Skoda VRS Tdi, priced up for £5295. Only to find out the clutch was slipping, front bumper, bonnet, and rear bumper was in very bad condition. Paint cracks, a lot stone of chips, and stamp/s on the service book looked dodgy. 

I then got a text saying, he will reduce the price to £4650, in order for me to replace the clutch and do all the resprays, ****!

 

I did took it for a test drive, and did put my foot down as it was quite fun and responsive.

 

At least I know how a Skoda drives
