Hello

I've got a bit of a problem with my Skoda Fabia and I can't find a Haynes manual for it (The Haynes website says they haven't released it because there weren't enough Fabias sold to warrant publishing it) so my son said why not try an owners club forum so here I am.

Anyways I was hoping I might be able to find someone who might be able to help me out. The electric window on the front passenger door dropped down inside the door the other day. I can't figure out how to get the door trim off without breaking anything so I can have a look and see what the problem is. I can still hear the motor when I work the switch so I know that isn't it. I think the window has just dropped off of a runners inside the door or something. The mechanic in the local garage wants 150 euros just for parts and then he'll charge labour on top and he hasn't even looked at it!!

for starters I just want to know how to remove the interior trim without damaging anything.

Can anyone help please??

Welcome Dave, I'll have a quick look. I think Jason put some pics up a while ago.

edit, doh it was xavier
