Featured Replies

hiya guys well after the g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch has been fitted and everything has gone back together it appears i have a problem where speedo isnt working now everytime i go round a corner the petrol light is beeping at me and then going out again and doesnt look like the mileage is going up on the engine at all we didnt get it finished untill late last night in the dark and think we may have lost the little piece that works the speedo does anyone no what that part is so i can order a new one also does anyone no if the petrol light beeping and the mileage now not going up is related to that part thanks guys all help is much appreciated

could be the speed sensor thats sits on the drive, or the drive itself that fits in the gearbox. Sensor could have been damaged (or the wiring) when moving the box.

Look at lloyds post on here, Similar thread where sensor possibly got damaged when shift bushes were being replaced.

He also has the petrol beeping thing.

I had this problem and it was the wires to the speedo sensor on the gearbox, one wire pulled away from the sensor
