Does anyone remember how much it was new for a white 10 plate vRS Tsi?

This is from the early 2010 brochure;

I paid just under 16k white full leather manual Sept 2009 assume early 2010 about same. Assume no one pays the book list price?

What a bargain!

the new mk3 seems to be way overpriced a 50% rise in 4 years. I'm guessing they aren't selling too well as the contract hire companies are offering them at bargain rates at moment @ £265/month inc vat for 3+23 vrs diesel hatch.

That was a bargain. I think I paid around £17.5 for my TFSI VRS in 2007 with no leather.

 

I agree about the new ones too. I certainly wouldn't pay £26k for a Skoda. Mine was getting a book price of about £9k after three years and I suspect th new ones will be very similar. £8k loss in 3yr is bad enough, £17k would be a bit much to bear.

We bought our 1.4TSI SE estate when one of the "no VAT" offers was on, and it was a total bargain.  A better car than the old 1.9TDI Ambiente hatchback it replaced, and only £1,000 more expensive.  After NINE YEARS!

 

At RRP, Skodas have got expensive, so you have to wait for the offers.
