Hi, can anyone help me with this please?

 

The front wipers on my Fabia won't turn off...  I had them on fast wipe yesterday, noticed they didn't slow when I clicked down a stop. Couldn't turn them off at all. This mornng they are left on intermittent wipe.

 

Here's the weird thing. Putting the rear wiper on cures it...the front wipers revert to normal behaviour.

 

It has been in the body shop recently after a rear shunt accident...but the wipers have worked OK in the last 3-4 weeks since we got it back and I'm not sure its related to this.

 

The Skoda dealer where I bought it and have it serviced have quoted 2.5 weeks to look at it which is a bit diasappointing to put it mildly.

Sounds like a lever on the column
