Headlight height

Featured Replies

I had some Nightbreaker headlight bulbs fitted when I purchased Snowy, but the dipped beam seems to be low.

Did I read somewhere that the garage can adjust the lights to a high setting? And yes, I am aware that I can alter the setting from within the car but they still seem to be low.

Thanks.

It could be a beam aim issue, in which case certainly any MOT garage, most body shops, and a fair few other garages and rapid fit places can adjust this (literally while you wait if there's someone free).

Check that the bulb is sitting straight as I once had this, checked again and saw the bulb wasn't in quite right. Simple stuff first :)

Agree with this, I fitted high power bulbs to our Octavia and noticed one was lower than the other on the road. I found one  one was not seating correctly and a refit overcame this straight away
