Can somebody please tell me if there is a minimum wheel width i need for my fabia vrs. just didnt know if there was a minimum needed to fit over brakes etc.

The spare wheel fits over the brakes front or back and that is probably the minimum size/width you would want to go.  

15 x 5.5J i think.  Someone can correct me.

(I carry full size spares.)

 

You will need tyre fitted to a suitable Speed/Load Rating for a vRS.

You might be OK with a Lower Speed Rating if fitting winter tyres, in winter, which could be 12 months in the UK.

Cheers, just buying some wheels tomorrow and wasn't sure if they needed to be a certain width, will have a look at the width tomorrow when I go to see them.

Are these for winter or just for general use.?

You are going to consider the offset of the wheels,  what car are they originally for.
