Car brokers

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm new to this forum, so be gentle.

I am considering purchasing my first ever Skoda, and in doing my research for deals etc, I came across various car broker websites that all seem to be able to get me £3k off a new car but still get the manufacturer deals on finance. I was wondering whether anyone has had experience of using a car broker to get their vehicle. It seems legit as all they do is put you in touch with an authorised Skoda dealer, but some clarification and validation would be appreciated.

Sorry if this has been discussed on the forum already. I did a seach but only seem to find posts about insurance.

Try using the term  internet brokers in the search box and you'll find loads of threads on the subject.

And welcome to the forum... :hi:

You won't get that big a discount and still have the 0% finance.

There's about 12% profit in the price for the dealer, and Skoda claw back 6% of that if you use the interest free credit so you can still get a reasonable reduction.

Carwow seems to be about the best site at the mo - you spec up what you want and then get quotes from half a dozen dealers so you know right away who you are dealing with.

I was offered 6% off with the 0% and free servicing and ended up getting a local dealer to beat their quote.
