I have managed to break the casing for the pollen filter , can I can one from halfords or do I need to go to Skoda and get one. Part number is 6Q0 819 647.

Skoda mate, halfords won't do that type of thing, only the filter.

If skoda want a fortune I have one I can send

Or get the later filter from the Fabia II that doesn't require the frame.

Fellas, Where is the filter? I've got a Fabia MK1 and it steams up really quickly, the carpets are all dry. I had a Golf GTI MK3 and that started to steam up when the pollen/cabin filter was old. On youtube I've seen the pollen filter is in the passenger side under the dash, but that was a Fabia MK 2 is it in the same place on the MK 1?

it is on the passenger side under the dash on the right as you look forward - there are two plastic sliders to move then the case etc drops out
