So Angry , car got key'd over weekend

Featured Replies

Can't believe it , some time over the weekend the car passenger side front a rear door has a key line across the length of them.

Why do mindless aholes need to do that.

I wish i had a camera and go get the little feckers.

I did manage to get some of the marks out as lucky i keep car wax'd. may have a better go this week too.

Not sure if it is worth going through insurance and not sure is a simple touch up can be done of a full door spray is needed.

Arghhhhh, so angry....

Dude bring down can see if we can polish it out

I still have that other rear door

Bowders so sorry to hear this buddy we all on here know how much you keep your car in great condition. These people just make me totally sick. Your insurance would cover it but to be honest they'll have you come renewal time. I wonder why we bother having cars sometimes we're fair game for everyone!!

Thanks buddy, It does make me wonder why sometimes, but i be buggered to give in to  just being plain boring for the sake of some mindless div's.

Off with their testes. Ohh I doubt if they have any ! Scumbags !

pathetic childish jealousy

Bad luck

Its just spite someone owns something they either can't afford or can't be a***d to work for. Sickening.

It might wet sand and polish out.  How deep does it feel when you rub a fingernail across it? :)

Wet sanding is bloody awesome when it works. :)

Makes my blood boil! Hope you get it fixed

Other side to what you took last time lol

How's that done devonutopia? That looks good. My bonnet could do with something like bowders due to vandals. Is it wet and dry?

Yes - but the process is a little "touch and go" and I only learned it by practising on scrap panels and having a depth gauge to help assist with knowing how far I can go.

How deep are the scratches?  Might be able as mentioned to wet sand and polish.  If theyre down to the primer, no chance.

Shame it wasn't my car instead. :(

I probably wouldn't even notice on mine.

Sucks that ar$eholes feel the need for petty $h!t like this.

Even if down to the basecoat there is no chance either.  :(  It doesn't take much to break through the clearcoat really.

No, but you can build up lacquer back in, and wet sand the excess back. Mind you, even then you have to go very careful. I've gone through lacquer a couple of times even doing this with a micromesh kit and working up to 12,000 grade. (Yep, that really is three zero's)

That's interesting to know. I can feel the scratch with my finger nail. It may not have gone through lacquer in some places. I got some out with autoglym paint restorer.

Not down to primer more likely to base coat in some places.
