Can these be added on?

Can Skoda install maxidot and electric folding mirrors to my car? If so then how much roughly?

Folding mirrors will cost close to £1200 + fitting

Maxidot is about £800 + fitting

Finding used parts for the folding is going to be a tough job, I've been looking without success.

Maxidot is a bit easier, I can fit used Clusters

I've seen 1 company who are sponsers on this website that supply and fit maxidot for less than half that

I don't think they do it anymore

anyway the car in question is a Facelift

A search will show several Facelift cars with retrofitted Maxidot

Do Shark not do the pre-FL either?

Damn.

A scangauge would be cheaper, and better, than Maxidot:

How could an ugly add on be better than an oe maxidot?

No they have stopped doing work like that, that's the understanding I got when I phoned them before.

Function, not form ;) . It is better by being able to give more accurate mpg data, coupled with aditional data that the maxidot doesn't give you. My car has a maxidot trip computer but I have a Scangauge II as well.

Other alternatives that look a bit better are an Ultragauge, or a mobile phone running the Torque app (with an appropriate bluetooth connection or I guess lead).
