Does anyone know of a good independent garage in York, preferably Monks Cross area ?

There's a good independent VAG specialist just down from Monks Cross. Called Roger Holmes.

 

They did a bit of gearbox work on our old Cordoba PD130 and knew what they were talking about.

I could do with my doors sealing properly, not sure if it would be a bodyshop I need really.

 

But always good to know of a place I can get the car serviced as I tend to travel to Shark performance in Mansfield which is a bit of a trek but they are good.

 

As the car is a bit modified I have always gone to a garage who know a bit about modified cars.

Ah right. They should be able to sort it at a garage. They've probably experienced it before should know exactly what to do.

 

I believe the owner of this place used to rally cars so not used to just the standard stuff.

Roger Holmes is good but can sometimes be abit pricey. My brother in law has a garage between sherburn and selby (bit further then york, but not too far) and specializes in VAG and landrover. PM me if you would like his details.
