Another won't start thread

Morning all.

Ok, went out to the car this morning and noticed that the windscreen inside and out was a little frosty, so thought I would start the car let it warm up whilst I went in to the house for a cup of tea to warm up myself. I went back out to the car to leave for work, reversing it of my drive when the abs light and epc light start to flash. Then no power steering and eventually no power at all. Parked back on my drive where it refuses to start. Fuel pump primes, all electrics work until I turn to crank when it goes dead. Headlights are bright, CD player works etc.

I have searched and checked the wire to starter and it is intact.

Should I assume a Knackered battery with the first frost of the year? Anything else I should try?

cheers

I had a similar problem and my mate just cleaned up all the earth points on the starter motor and it worked fine after.

Try the old whack it with a hammer trick :)
