I have to replace my '02 estates front wing panel because some 'jack' reversed into my car(then claimed I reversed into him -go figure??).

 

even though with camera footage at the parking lot (they wont give it to us even though both parties have requested it)

 

I am too tired to bother with insurance now as they are weasels and not worth our money we pay.  So I should be able to pick up a replacement wing from  a wrecker fairly easily for a lot less cost and frustration.

 

does anyone know whether all early model fabia wings for hatches, sedans and estates are the same are they?

Go back to them, you can get the video recording under the Data Protection Act as it contains identifiable information about yourself. 

been there done all of that and more(both parties asked for the CFTV in writing quoting DP Act etc etc), no cigar, ridiculous!  I think they try to push you down the "must complain to DP commission" then they can also make you need to hire a solicitor etc etc.  They are plainly just waiting for us to lose the will to fight.  pretty annoying.

All the wings are the same. Always a pain when it happens. A replacement will cost £40-£50
