Alternator fuse keeps blowing

im guessing my regulator is faulty on my alternator keeps blowing the fuse alternator one black cable i replaced battery today and when driving noticed the red battery light so tested and realised it was not charging i looked at fuse and blown replaced it for time being my mate reckons could be the cable so is it worth making a better cable you know beefier one

Double check the main wire to it first though. Could be chafing on something

Check earth wires are clean and free from rust.

UPDATE hi all just got a new alternator in the end and all seems good at mo

I did this with my alternator cable if it helps..

So, Today we started installing and wiring the radar sensors. Since it's the facelift rear end, we installed the OEM bracket for the 2Q0 radar sensors. At the same time, we installed the tow hitch. The mechanical part is mostly finished; the cables are in the trunk and all that's left is to route and connect everything inside the car. Coding is also required, of course. A few photos.

Hello people, I got a 2011, VRS a few days ago. Primarily for a long trip. Seems decent so far, but I want to add power, music and just get things working. I have a few issues/questions. Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. Kodiaq 2026 PHEV I set the lane control to 'Off', set the alert control to 'off', and various other settings that I want. But when I next switch the car on, all my settings are lost and I have to re-set them. This is a complete pain in the ass. How do I save the settings so that they stay set?
