On my 06 Superb the arrow on the screen generally pointed 'up', and the map moved down around it. On my 'new' 07 car the arrow points any which way - much more confusing.

 

The manual is generally unhelpful (or I can't understand the Skodaspeak) - can anyone advise me how to jiggle things around so that the arrow on the '07 also changes to the upright position?

press the round sat nav button when the map is being displayed, select map detail, map alignment.
