how to tell windscreen been replaced

Featured Replies

Ive got a pre own vrs in which the passenger wiper blade sits a little high. Im assuming it must of had a new screen at some poi t in its life as the parts details lookingout of the window on the drivers side bottom corner doesnt have a skoda logo like all the other windows.

In a nut shell does the oem window have a skoda logo in the corner?

Thanks

Not sure. Does it matter the cars had a new screen? I've had 5 new screens in 130 k miles.

The Wiper arm may have been removed at some point and not put back in the same place, easy job to re-position

My passenger wiper sits high, it's the original screen though. The reason is that the wipers are now amazon specials for under £10 instead of the Bosch ones I had before; Must be to do with the wipers' internal construction. Might go away with some better wipers?

Cheers guys i ll re position it if it continues to annoy.

To answer the original question then yes it would have the Skoda logo.

Mind the last Yeti had a screen replaced by autoglass and it was obvious they had bought Skoda screens but then strangely etched the logo off; could still make out its outline.
