I have a fabia vrs 05 plate.

 

Everything was running ok drove to get diesel everything fine, pulled on drove and left left it for around 3 hours. When I came back to it and started it up it sounds like a hoover.  :(

 

Any ideas??

does your car feel the same when you drive it (power down?)

 

does the noise increase if you rev it

 

I would think you have a boost leak, mine used to pop off either the intercooler on the way in or the 90 degree on other side 

 

the clips are poor and wear as boost is on and off, search boost leak in fabia 1 forum there is plenty to keep you going this weekend
