Hi All

Going to join the Skoda club tomorrow. Will be buying one of two Fabia's I've seen advertised locally. They are both 2002 models 16v petrol. As with any motor I'll be looking for all the usual stuff, making sure everything works, service history etc. Any pointers from experienced owners will be most welcome. Heres to a long happy relationship.

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. So here i am, about to order a Smokey Silver 1.5tsi DSG SEL, but i have never ordered a new car before so am a bit ' giddy ' on what to add in options..... The spare wheel is a given and f

Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

So I have a backwards facing child seat in my passenger seat, and its just so that I can see the right side mirror. I went and bought one of the small mirror that are mounted on the side mirror because then I would be able to see. Attached is the manual from the mirror. But anyway I do it i just won't be mounted good enough. It feels OK, but as soon as I touch it, the mirror jumps out. This is because of the superbs side mirror having a slight curve to it.
