Hello everyone

 

My name is Dave and I have just ordered a new Fabia VRs in Racing Blue from Wayside Skoda in Milton Keynes.  Previously I had a Smart Roadster Coupe, which I am trading in.  I'm looking forward to getting my new car.  It's certainly a bit of a beast!

 

I've had Smart Roadsters for a number of years now, and they are wonderful little cars.  Trouble is, my partner and I are finding space a little tight, especially as we now do more festivals - putting all the camping gear into the smart is a bit of a squeeze, as you can imagine!

 

I chose the Fabia VRs as, apart from having lots of extra room, it still ticks all the boxes.  It's light and nimble, fun to drive, and the robotised manual gearbox and paddles act and feel exactly like the robotised manual gearbox and paddles on the smart!  In fact, the Fabia VRs drives and feels very much like the roadster, only it's easier to get in and out of!!!

 

I do have some initial technical questions, but I'll post these in the relevant section. I do hope to meet some of you and to make some new friends too.
