DTS box or TMC?

Featured Replies

i know that chip tuning has been spoken about a lot on here but i was just wondering if anyones had experiances with either of these chips on the 1.2 TSI 105 engines, more in particular the DTS box as lots of people have mentioned TMC before but DTS quotes more power and is cheaper than TMC...

was just hoping to get a few peoples opinions and experiences as i am looking to buy a tuning box after xmas

thanks

ps im not looking to get a remap as im not planning on having the car past 3 years and can sell a tuning box on :)

never heard of DTS... TMC are respected on many forums, I have used the box on my last fabia 1.4tsi, and its all good :)

DTS fancy website, never seen one.

Even one there for the vRS 1.4 TSI.

Nearly stage 2 output from a tuning box (only checked Vrs) has alarm bells ringing for me

Would seem unwise to pick a box you can find no reference to on here over the one that many members have used and given Dyno evidence of it's effectiveness and in Sharkrider's case engine longevity.

DTS "might" be fine - but cheaper and bigger power gains claimed would leave me dubious.

The claims of 225bhp on a 1.4tsi vRS as said above seem a tad strong

check out www.companycheck.co.uk as some of our competitors have a dubious history and I've heard a lot of stories of customers not being able to contact some of these companies either..
