Kent hilly?

Pah!!! :giggle:

You need to come to Central Wales; we've got proper hills!! :whew:

However I will agree you do need to change down a cog with the 140, but it is far better than my previous Freelanders. :hi:

Kent only has mounds!!

Wow, I wasn't trying to start a "my hill is bigger than your hill" competition, honest! All I was saying is that there are hills around here, and the fuel consumption is very sensitive to them. I'll get back in my box now.

Short journeys are the killer. I can get near 50 on a motorway run, but local trips are rarely much over 40, and sometimes not even that. I filled up this week to an all time best mpg for the previous tank of 44.4, but that included 200 miles of motorway/dual carriageway at under 65mph. Average over 18,000 miles is 41.5. Oh, and it's quite hilly round here too.
