Steering and knocking

Featured Replies

Hello all,

If I plant it say in third or fourth gear my car veers off to the left, the steering wheel doesn't move much but when I lift immediately off it twitches. Sometimes say I've reversed and I'm turning my wheel I get a knock and if i turn it back and forth past a particular point I can hear it knock. What could this be?

Collapsed console bushes.

Dont drive to much before changing them. Will shred your tyres quick

Can be going round a corner accelerate a bit and a veers off. Even in sixth gear at 70 it veers off to the left. Was going round a roundabout turning right and bang knocked. Sure it'll be console bushes?

It's very easy to check, just wander outside with a torch and take a look.
