Lost my Octavia VRS remote key last night whilst walking the dog - I know there are loads of people who have asked similar questions on here and there been some great advice but I'm hopeful someone local to me might be able to help - Gloucester.

 

Want to get a new remote key and reprogramme the spare remote I have.

I did the same as you (then found it) and now have a spare from my old FL Octavia which I had hoped could be used as a remote locker (kept in bedroom for those "Did I lock the car? moments).  You'd have to get the blade cut and it programmed. But I plan to be in 'nam on Monday if that's any use?  See how much a dealer charges first though.
