Anyone handy with the above?

 

I want to remove the music/pictures/weather tabs from the home page and add a stand up comedy one - have had a read of the "guide" in their wiki but have no way of editing XML

 

can anyone help?

XML is just text, so use a text editor?

yeah i tried that but couldn't seem to save it as xml again

 

thinking about it i've got dreamweaver here at work.

i might USB the file and have a play to see how badly i can break xbmc!

Ensure you open the XML as a sudo'er.

You can remove the group from the main menu by going into the settings. Can't help with creating new ones.
