It usually takes 3 weeks from being built to arrive at the dealers though depending on exact location it may be sooner, Hopefully I will have an Octavia under my Christmass tree.

Me as well. Vrs Tsi Hatch with loads of extras. Skoda UK said expect to collect 2nd week of January. The dealer has been told that the car needs to be at Emden for shipping by the 8th to stand a chance to be available for collection this year. So no big Christmas present for me.

I've been told delivery just before or just after Christmas. I wonder which it will be?....

Just had a status update...awaiting ship!!!  Set my dealer the challenge of getting to me before Xmas.  Her response...easy!!!  Lets hope so.

I will allow nature to run its course. You Will get yours in time too, im sure the cars will have a splendid crossing together .

crazydunc's post on the delivery time tab says that his week 48 car is today sitting at the dock...

ordered week 37, build week 49 in transit now, not going to the UK, so no ferry issue here

I am sure Skoda have been investing a lot of money in learning international logistics and customer support as from a logistical view they have never had as much demand before. last few years market growth has been steadily rising so they have also had to develop and grow within and as for customer service... well.... I'm afraid to say they are on UK soil and if anyone to blame it is purely our UK lazy staff in my opinion.
