Just called seat and tps and got the same price from both and couldnt belive it..... so was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere to get them cheaper

£37 + vat - cuprs r splitter

£19 + vat - pd160 intake trumpet (can deal with this price)

£78 + vat - pd160 intake pipe

I paid the same for my LCR lip a few months back from tps. only really cheaper if you know someone who's in the trade to get it for you discounted at trade price.

Not really....  that's the price! Can always check ebay and the like, but these are common mods so expect to pay "Vag tax" as I like to call it

Where do the think these prices up?? £78 PLUS vat for a bit of plastic is comical. Get yourself some flexible pipe for a fiver I say

It is an absolute joke, remember seeing threads from years ago when they cost around £35? Even that is quite funny when you think about what it actually is. It's just hype in my opinion.

 

Has anyone thought of doubling up on pd130 intakes? Maybe getting the feed from the other side of the battery or something?

 

I've said it before but i'm incredibly tempted to try a bonnet scoop for an air intake. No idea what sort of style would suit my car though, would have to be mega subtle.
