Anyone done an EGR delete and got some spare parts?

Featured Replies

If anyone has done an EGR delete and wants shot of the parts I am after the vacuum "thing" with operates the anti-shudder valve.  My father dropped my mine on the ground a few years ago and it broke.  Sadly previously attempts to fix it have failed and I am keen to reinstate the anti-shudder valve just incase of oil seal failures in the turbo.

I've got one with a working seal, but the plastic tabs that slot it into the EGR bracket are broken. I reckon mine could probably be cable tied to the bracket though. You're welcome to it if it helps, but I assume yours has the same problem?

The "plunger" part on mine is broken off.  I suspect that I could fabricate a bracket to hold yours inplace, or merge the two to make a complete, unbroken unit.

I am slightly worried, as when I removed the EGR feeder pipe there was some oil there (and given I elephant mod'd it years ago), there still shouldn't be oil coming through....

I'll PM you :-)
