I am just popping over here from the Octavia section, because I am thinking of getting a 1.9d Fabia to replace our old Mondeo (the second car).

I am really inpressed with the Octavia, so thought that a Fabia would be ideal. I like the 1.9td pd engine, so would also go for one of those.

Looking at the prices, I only want to pay around £2.5K at the most, so I realise that is going to get me a 55 reg car at the latest.

Has anyone got any advice?
