Custom roof-bar mounting for light-bar

Featured Replies

Hi all

(Newbie post, be gentle).

Anyone know of a good company/individual/outlet for the supply of customised roof-bar mounting solutions? Have a low-profile LED light bar that needs mounting semi-permanently on the roof of my vRS... the workshop wish to drill mount it (I am understandably not keen!) and the only generic roof bars I have been able to find so far are not terribly low-profile or attractive. Anyone had any experience with any providers/individuals who have been able to custom-make something for roof mounting on a vRS or similar? (keen not to trash the vRS looks, especially as the rest of the covert light installation has been done so sympathetically....).

Thanks for any pointers!

Ah... that might do the job failing anything custom..... thanks!

The guys at Peek have them for their fleet, so they are about.

Yes, I wasn't able to get any response out of them where sourced from :(

Prorack Whispbars look like this on the car, just ignore the back gound :giggle:

Yep, a T-track mount on a Whispbar would be a good choice. I also have them.

Thanks all, I think I will ask them to mount it on a set of them... cheers!

Is that mounted on the Whispbar? If it is, that's exactly what I need.
