I am looking for alternate alloy rims for my soon to be beloved vRS (expecting it mid january). Is it just me or Matterhorn is [almost] a 17 inch black version of Gemini.?

 

Million dollar question is has anyone tried to mount Matterhorns on a vRS, or at least answer me if it is possible to mount a 225 40 17, or a 205 50 17 tyre on them?

 

If everything fits, I still have one "small" problem. those Matterhorns are damn expensive, 330 Euros per rim, is just mean. Does anyone knows who is the OEM manufacturer for Skoda rims, and is it possible to by them "without official skoda logo". if the answers is no (which I suspect it to be) can you give me a suggestion for rims (preferably) black, that are not both notoriously expensive  & ugly.

Yes, you could fit 205/50/17 or 225/45/17. As of the producer I don't know, but there are a lot of beautiful , good and inexpensive wheels.
