problem with playing JPG files on Amundsen?

Featured Replies

I cannot play JPG picture files on Amundsen.

File sizes are approx. 1 MB per each.

Photos taken with my mobile.

Is it because of the size of the files, or not playing picture files at all?

Amundsen doesn't appear to do anything to do with video so wouldn't surprise me if pictures we're supported either.

So far I've found, contrary to the manual, it doesn't support

Video on SD or USB

Flack audio

NTFS or exFAT formatted SD or USB

At the moment it's not supporting iPods via mitsumi either, although that might be an issue with my iPods (I'm going to try and borrow a mates iPhone 4 tomorrow) - not that Skoda seem to care.

Why would you assume it is supposed to display image files? I'm not aware Amundsen is supposed to display pictures and have not seen anything promising that in manual or elsewhere.

It will display album cover art (in place of the generic note symbols displayed otherwise) but I would assume even that is only if the album cover has been embedded in the tags of the media file.

EDIT: was just informed that you can in fact manually assign image files to radio stations. So that's one thing you should be able to do with jpg-s.
